GOLD MEDAL – NEW YORK 2021
The FerMedica team is incredibly excited and proud to inform you that we have been awarded a gold medal for our honey liquor at the Great American International Spirits beverage contest in New York, USA.
This gold medal is a true honor and illuminates our hard earned efforts to always strive to create the best and to offer liquor lovers nothing less than the highest quality and top product around.
Haven’t tried it yet? Now is the best time to get your hands on our honey brandy!
Honey liqueur from Slovenia – a clean and green country on the sunny side of the Alps – is made by mixing natural honey and fruit brandy. It contains 24% alcohol.
The climate in Slovenia is suitable for fruit production – especially apples and pears, from which we make (distill) natural fruit brandy. It is the basis for honey liqueur.
Slovenia (a small country with a population of 2 million) is world famous for beekeeping and for the autochthonous species of bee called apicarnica.
In beautiful forests and green meadows, bees collect first-class honey, which is then mixed with natural fruit brandy to make honey liqueur. We market it under the FerMedica brand.
Honey liqueur is very popular in Slovenia and is consumed especially in winter. On cold days, we offer it hot on Christmas-New Year’s fair. On warm days, we recommend it chilled. The taste of genuine honey is especially felt with chilled liqueur.
Cocktail lovers can combine it with other drinks.
